Learning about Robots

How does our robot learn patterns?

Every time our robot sees different fish, it tries to recognize their components. For example, it gradually understands that all fish have eyes, but trash doesn't! Fish have tails, but cans don’t. Their sizes and appearances are similar to each other and quite different from trash...

Now it’s time to find the patterns!
This means if the robot sees something with a tail, a curved shape, and eyes, it says it’s probably a fish, not trash.

Learn more Our robot is actually finding patterns by looking at different types of fish. This process is called pattern recognition.
